We are Inclusion Scotland.

We want to know what disabled people think is important when thinking about services local Councils deliver.
Scottish local Council elections are coming in 2027.
We want to tell Scottish Councils what disabled people need.
We need your help to do this.

What is this survey about?

Local councils decide how to spend money on many things. Here are some of the things councils do:

1. Schools and help for children with extra needs
2. School buses and nursery places
3. Finding a home and help if you have no home
4. Care and support at home, and you choose how your social care support is directed
5. Roads, pavements, parking, and school transport
6. Bin collections and recycling
7. Parks, gardens, cemeteries, and public toilets
8. Giving licences to taxis, pubs, and shops that open late
9. Keeping people safe, like CCTV cameras
10. Libraries, museums, sports centres, and swimming pools
11. Helping local arts, events, and festivals
12. Helping local businesses and people find jobs
13. Planning for the local area
14. Council Tax and local charges

What we will do with your answers:

We will use your answers to write our Manifesto for Inclusion. This is a document we give to councils. Disabled people can also use it to ask questions of candidates in the lead up to the election. It will tell Council candidates what disabled people want them to change. It will also explain why these changes are important. We cannot write this without you. Your answers will help us know what to ask for.
